Hadouken: eSpot Weekly Vid

Just a quick vid of the weekly I went to earlier today. This was the final match against a Sagat player there who won. If you’re interested seeing me getting beasted as Rog, take a look. I ditched the fat man as I didn’t stand a chance with him…my match up against Sagat needs some serious work.

Edit – eSpot seems like a great place. All the people are friendly. If you can, the tournament there this Friday is a Singles tournament with 70/20/10 payout. If you’re in the area, check it out.

Hadouken: Adventures in Financial Aid: Soul Breaker

Ever since I graduated high school I have been trying to find the right college to go to. I started looking into schools and I came across a couple of schools that looked pretty good. So here comes the part where I need help.

I missed the deadline to register this year because I didn’t have my FAFSA turned in. What had happened was I got it all filled out and filed but was denied any sort of aid because I didn’t have up to date tax information for my parents. Which confused me. I’m 20 years old, I don’t live with them and they don’t claim me on their taxes. For whatever reason FAFSA said that until I am 24, married or legally divorce my parents that I still have to have their tax information. The problem with this is that my dad owns a business and he always has to file for an extension to turn his taxes in every year. So, I will never have their up to date tax information in order to get financial aid. Is there any way around this? I don’t think that I’m getting all of the information from FAFSA or the school I’m working with.

I also don’t have a cosigner for a student loan. Is it possible to get one without it?

Am I still eligible for scholarships even having graduated from high school in 2007? And if so, where would I go to apply for them?

I’m tired of being broke as shit, sitting on my ass all day every day just staring at some type of screen or another. I want to get out and do something. I know there are some very intelligent people on here and I really hope you guys can give me some advice. Thanks.
