From our Las Vegas Fight Club: href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/jgonzo">jgonzo on the
left, Major
Nelson
in the middle, and href="http://capcom-unity.com/snow_infernus">Snow
on the right. Kotaku’s Brian Crecente can be seen in the
background. Thanks to href="http://capcom-unity.com/curlehmustache">Curleh
for the pic! />

A
ridiculous photo appears!

Capcom
Unity members use snark and/or sarcasm to caption the
photo.

It’s super
effective!

Winner gets some
random swag that we have at the office.

The only rule is keep it clean folks.

Hadouken: Las Vegas Super Street Fighter IV Fight Club Caught on Camera, Blog

All right, so
rule #1 of Fight Club–bah never mind, at this point,
it’s ridiculous to keep up any pretensions of secrecy
since we broadcast the dang thing. At any rate, Capcom
Unity members href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/wickedelement">WickedElement,

href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/tongaridan">TongariDan, and

href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/curlehmustache">CurlehMustache drove
to Las Vegas from LA so that they could spill the beans
to the rest of the world. Wicked has a bunch of videos
(filmed by Dan) up over on his href="http://www.capcom.com/bumper.php?tgtwww=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fuser%2FWickedElement%23g%2Fc%2F97CEF8CD4CBB73CD">youtube
channel and Curleh has written up a nice

href="http://www.capcom-unity.com/curlehmustache/blog/2010/01/11/super_street_fighter_iv_las_vegas_fight_club">blog
post with pictures (also by Dan) that’s worth
checking out!

Hadouken: CES 2010: Fightsticks Ahoy!

2010 continues our epic corporate high-five with
Mad Catz, in the form of two awesome new fightsticks for
Super SFIV and Tatsunoko Vs Capcom: Ultimate
All-Stars.

The new Mad
Catz Super Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition “S,” has
a new, more narrow case (it’s fast, like a shark!), and
the “lockout” switch to prevent accidental button-presses
(which have cost me more games in tournaments than I care
to admit) now totally disables the
Start and Select
buttons, as well as all the buttons on the
face. Start and
Select were already placed off the
face of the stick along the top ridge, but now with the
new total lockout you have no excuse for accidental
pausing!

The TvC: Ultimate All-Stars stick is similar to
the Standard Edition SFIV Fightstick, but in addition to
the obvious (and purdy!) art changes and button colors,
it also features beefed up weight and a new anti-slip
faceplate.

We put these things
through the paces at this past weekend’s Las Vegas Fight
Club, but for some independent thoughts on the sticks,
here are a few reviews from href="http://www.destructoid.com/ces-2010-tatsunoko-vs-capcom-fightstick-close-up-159874.phtml">Destructoid
(for TvC) and href="http://kotaku.com/5443207/super-street-fighter-iv-fightstick-tournament-edition-s-hands+on">Kotaku
(for SSFIV).
