We’re back for another round of LA Riots! The first one that we did last month on TheStream.tv went so well, this one is shaping up to be even better.
For anyone who missed the first one, LA Riots is an exclusive 8-man invitational tournament, where we showcase the best players in SoCal.
Here are five things to look out for this time around:
Combofiend Winning For A Second Time
Combofiend went undefeated last time on LA Riots, going through Kai and Keno to win the $500 prize. But this time around, he’ll have be going up against a true Street Fighter legend, Alex Valle. His Abel beasted last weekend in San Diego at the Duael 2v2, we’ll see if he can keep it up at LA Riots.
Alex Valle’s Debut
Valle, who was unable to attend LA Riots I, makes his debut after winning his spot at Bar Fights @ Hooters last month in Anaheim, CA. He teamed up with Combofiend to win 1st Place just last week in San Diego, CA at the Duael 2v2, so these guys are definitely favored to be in Grand Finals. His Ryu will be going up against Shizza’s Chun Li first.
San Diego’s Yeb Invades LA Riots!
Yeb, whose infamous Gen put him on the map at West Coast Warzone in September, won his spot at LA Riots by getting 4th Place at Bar Fights @ Hooters last month. He goes up against Keno in his first match, who has been playing Gen recently to learn the Balrog/Gen match.
Our Hero, Ken I

Anyways, Ken I is back again on LA Riots after going 0-2 and getting eliminated from the tournament last time. He regained his spot by getting 2nd Place at Bar Fights @ Hooters last month, and was narrowly defeated by Alex Valle. Last time he tried out his Akuma, but he’s been playing his original main Rufus ever since so he is definitely one to watch!Jayce The Ace
Subbing in for Shady K, Jayce The Ace is the 15 year old kid from Westminster, Alex Valle’s hometown! He placed 5th with C. Viper at Bar Fights @ Hooters last month and also won Match of the Night, for his exciting matches against Shady K’s Akuma and Shizza’s Chun Li.
