Good news for
folks attending WonderCon this year, as we got a ton in
store for Capcom fans! From showing off our latest games,
to giving out awesome free swag, to having Udon artists
doing sketches and signings. Here to talk about more
specifics is our very own Sr. Director of Creative
Services, Francis Mao:

Once again, Capcom sports the biggest
booth (#833( on the show floor as we present
demos of hot, upcoming new games (many
for the first time anywhere) to the public including:
Super Street Fighter IV, Lost Planet 2, Monster Hunter
Tri, Final Fight: Double Impact, Mega Man Zero
Collection, Street Fighter IV for the iphone, and Dead
Rising 2!

We’ll be giving out tons of free
collectibles
to all those that demo our games
such as posters, game demos, and controller skins. In
addition, we’ll be raffling off serious collectibles such
as the Lost Planet 2 Salamander boss plushie, and Street
Fighter IV-etched iTouches and Blackberry.

Long
Vo, famed artist for Udon Comics’ Street Fighter comic
books,
will be onsite daily to do
lightning-fast sketches as well as other super-talented
artists still to be scheduled.

The Capcom store will be
featuring serious collectibles
as always plus
all the Capcom games you need to fill out your gaming
library. Look for our daily specials as well as our usual
“Sunday afternoon blowouts” at the end of the show.

In addition
to our games, we’ll have our annual Capcom
Blowout presentation on Friday afternoon, from 5pm-6pm in
Room 103
. We’ll be showcasing all our upcoming
titles as well as having an impromptu Super Street
Fighter IV Tournament hosted by SF champion, Seth
Killian. The winner will reap heaps of accolades as well
as a Capcom goodie pack worth its weight in gold. Fans of
the Resident Evil movie series are in for a special treat
as we co-present Paul Anderson and Ali Larter from the
upcoming Resident Evil Afterlife 3D movie – who will be
signing autographs on Saturday. The first 500 people to
enter the doors for the Capcom panel will get a ticket to
the world premiere of the Resident Evil Afterlife 3D
movie trailer at the Metreon theaters next to Moscone
South for a Friday, 7:30pm showing including a
collector’s tshirt as well as popcorn and
soda!

I’m out
of breath describing all the details of Capcom’s presence
at Wonder Con. For those that have visited us before in
past Wonder Cons, you already know the massive attraction
that is the Capcom booth – worth the price of admission
alone. For those of you joining us for the first time, we
welcome you and look forwards to seeing you
there!

And don’t forget
that we, the community team, will be there as well! Drop
by and say hi!
