Hadouken: TEKKEN 6 In MLG’s 2010 Pro Circuit Line Up!

The world’s largest professional video game league, Major League Gaming, has just announced that the upcoming’s season line up will include Tekken 6! Super Smash Bros. Brawl is also in and there’s a possibility that Street Fighter IV will be picked up as the 3rd fighting game. Do you have what it takes to become the MLG Champion? The Perfect Combo

Tekken 6 for the Playstation 3 will be storming the Pro Circuit in 2010, beginning with MLG Orlando April 16-18. This fast-paced and highly technical fighter will bring together the most skilled competitors from all over the country to see who will emerge victorious in a season-long struggle for dominance.

Registration for MLG Orlando Opens March 17 at 7pm ET

The top 16 ranked players overall will earn pro status following the second Live Competition

Over $60,000 in season prizes. Full prize list

The first Tekken 6 Online Qualifier will be for MLG Columbus, and will help players boost their seed at all live competitions. Online Qualifier registration opens on March 15, and competition begins on March 29.

MLG is also making efforts to add Street Fighter IV to the Pro Circuit, and further announcements will be made if there are any developments on this.

An All-Out Brawl

The Super Smash Bros. series is deeply intertwined with MLG’s roots, and we are thrilled to announce that Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii will be joining the Pro Circuit in 2010, marking a triumphant return for the franchise. With an intensely devoted fanbase and a fiercely high level of competition, Brawl will undoubtedly find itself right at home alongside the Pro Circuit’s other world-class titles.

Hadouken: TEKKEN 6 ONLINE CO-OP NEXT WEEK!

NAMCO BANDAI has announced the long awaited online co-op patch for TEKKEN 6’s Scenario Campaign mode. Along with that, Mokujin will be receiving a fix for online versus mode to properly change fighting styles inbetween every round. TEKKEN® 6 ONLINE CO-OP UPDATE CONFIRMED FOR JANUARY

SANTA CLARA, Calif., (Jan. 12, 2010) – NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced that players can expect to download the free TEKKEN® 6 online co-op update on January 18 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. Now for the first time in the TEKKEN series, players can join a friend online and fight side-by-side for some serious iron fist brawling.

Previously playable only as an offline single player mode with an AI companion, TEKKEN 6’s Scenario Campaign mode now let’s two players come together online and power their way through numerous stages. Use voice chat to work together strategically and beat down vicious opponents and their legions of minions. To keep the fires of competition in the forefront, a co-op leaderboard will be implemented so players can size up their skills against the best in the world.

This update will also include the following refinement:
· Improved Mokujin AI – In online versus mode, Mokujin’s fighting style changes with every round
